Private Equity backed consumer business Broad remit across FP&A, financial modelling and business partnering North Sydney location | $120,000 to $140,000 package The Opportunity Our client is a private equity backed consumer business with a strong growth trajectory and national footprint. Operating in a fast paced, commercially driven environment, the business has continued to scale through a combination of organic growth and strategic initiatives. They are seeking a Commercial Analyst to join a high performing finance team and support decision making across the business. This role will play a key part in delivering financial insights, supporting planning processes and partnering with key stakeholders to drive performance. The Challenge Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, your responsibilities will include: Support budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely financial plans Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, scenario analysis and investment decisions Deliver detailed variance analysis and performance reporting, providing actionable insights to leadership Partner with sales, marketing and operations teams to support commercial decision making Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools, with Power BI highly regarded Analyse key business drivers including revenue, margin and cost performance to identify opportunities for improvement Assist in driving process improvements across reporting, planning and data integrity Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner The Expertise To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring: A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline CA or CPA qualification, or working towards 3 years of experience in a Commercial Analyst, FP&A or similar role Strong capability across financial modelling, budgeting and performance analysis Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to Power BI or similar tools viewed favourably The Next Step If this position will enhance your career and you would like further details on the client, the role, remuneration or a copy of the position description, please contact Lachlan Kiel for a confidential discussion on .
